Atlanta Comedy Arts Festival: July 20-24th

The ATL Comedy Arts Fest is a citywide, Multi-Venue stand up comedy Festival and Symposium. Featuring the top comedians in the region and up-n-coming comics, the festival will culminate with 8 half-hour TV Episodes and 2 x 1-hour long Specials being filmed at 2 of the Venues! Alas Buckley, posing left, is not in this year’s line up.

“If we’re going to grow,” the Commissioner said, “we’re going to have to develop in a way that more people can walk… A lot of this zoning in the 1960’s and 70’s imagined a future where everything would be monolithic and huge, and we would drive everywhere.” Planners say that a new code will be easier to interpret with simpler, more unified definitions and graphical illustrations to better explain regulations – and if passed, the new rules could have tremendous effects.
