This weekend, among the many cyclists making their way to Callaway Gardens for the huge “Bike MS” fund-raising cycling event in Georgia, Atlanta’s own Team Shepherd is heading south to participate in the biking extravaganza set to raise thousands of dollars to help those living with Multiple Sclerosis. Every mile the cyclists ride and every dollar raised make a difference to the 2.3 million people living with MS.
The Shepherd Center, on Peachtree Road in Buckhead Atlanta, is a private, not-for-profit hospital specializing in medical treatment, research and rehabilitation for people with spinal cord injury and brain injury. They pull their own team together every year to enjoy and share the experience of a great ride and help the National MS Society fund research, advocate for change and help people with MS live their best lives. The Shepherd Center has the Andrew C. Carlos MS Institute focusing on the needs of MS patients.

Environ’s own Dawn and Terry are joining the Shepherd Team (for their 6th year) this weekend, both planning to ride at least 100 miles (a century!). Along with kits sponsorship, Environs provides socks to the team riders.
If you’d like to sponsor Dawn, you can give online at her BIKE MS fundraising page.
